Week Thirteen available on www.myspace.com/bullette. Art and Harmony.

"Art is, and has always been, a political power supply. It functions competitively, like wealth: I have a lot, and you do not. It speaks the power language of "authenticity" and "quality": what I have is better (older, bigger, classier, rarer, holier) than what you have. Art can be recruited to shape and advertise culture identity, to create a history, real or artificial." - nice article in NYTIMES

Art for Sale

Overlooked Films of the 90's - and interesting list. I remember really enjoying "Safe", "The Double Life of Veronique",and "Dead Man" - still waiting to see "Titus" - as it's a Julie Taymor production ("Frida Kahlo" director)
